MAP adds five new staff members

 We are excited to introduce five of our newest staff members to the Mid-America team.

  
      -        Sarah Olsen, of Humboldt, has joined Mid-America as its office manager in Clarion and graphic designer in Eagle Grove. Sarah will be splitting her time between the locations assisting Sarah Tassinari and Kacey Ginn in the Clarion office and Kim Demory in our Eagle Grove office. Sarah’s background includes a degree from Iowa Central Community College in Graphic Design and Technology. Prior to joining MAP, she had worked at La’James International College as a Creative Marketing Designer, Hy-Vee in Customer Service; Industry Marketing Solutions as a web designer.       -        Becca Bruning, of Ida Grove, has joined Mid-America as its new full-time graphic designer in our Ida Grove office. Becca eanred a Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State in advertising in May of 2015. She has also interned at Bluespace Creative in Denison, and was employed at Ida Liquor as a Barista and North Star Community Credit Union in Ida Grove as a teller before joining our staff. -        Becky Bottorff, of Hampton, has joined Mid-America as its project coordinator in our custom printing division. Becky brings many years of experience to the company in graphic design and office management. Becky, along with Jackie Wenzel, will form a two person tandem as we continue to look for ways to grow our custom printing division. -        Danielle Potkonak, of Ackley, has joined Mid-America as its new office manager and graphic designer for our Parkersburg office. Danielle joins our staff after having worked the past several years at Helzberg Jewelers as an assistant manager in Des Moines. Danielle also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from Drake University last May. Danielle is currently training Hampton before moving to Parkersburg full-time next week. -        Ricardo Ramirez, of Hampton, has joined Mid-America as a part-time graphic designer. Ricardo joined the staff just before the end of the year and will be responsible for the layout of The Sun while assisting with Viva Iowa!
